About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Chief Accountant to lead our accounting function and ensure the highest standards of financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening internal controls, driving process improvements, and supporting the company’s growth in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you will do

• Supervise the accounting team and manage day-to-day accounting operations

• Implement and maintain an effective internal control environment and robust reconciliation processes

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures

• Oversee tax compliance, including the preparation of transfer pricing documentation

• Prepare financial statements and reports, including quarterly regulatory and annual financial reporting

• Contribute to the automation and optimization of accounting processes

• Provide support and act as a key contact during internal and external audit processes
  

What we expect from you

• Proven experience as a Chief Accountant in a fast-paced environment, preferably within financial services or fintech

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting regulations, and tax legislation

• Hands-on experience in financial reporting, including data consolidation between core banking and accounting systems

• Proficiency in accounting and reporting systems, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Fluency in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken

• Experience working with both local and international accounting standards
