About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive AML Specialist to join our AML team. You will play a key role in monitoring merchant activity, investigating suspicious behavior, and ensuring compliance with AML and card scheme requirements.

What you will do:

• Monitor deposits, review daily fraud and chargeback reports to ensure merchant compliance with Visa and Mastercard programs

• Conduct periodic evaluations of merchant websites, including test transactions to assess functionality and compliance

• Investigate merchant activities and portfolios to assess risk, ensure compliance, and identify potential fraudulent or illegal activity

• Collect, analyze, and administrate additional client data related to transactions

• Ensure that all transactions performed by clients comply with AML procedures and internal policies
  

What we expect from you:

• At least 1 year of experience in transaction monitoring, AML, or a related compliance function

• Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and card scheme rules is an advantage

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data, form conclusions, and make sound decisions independently

• High sense of responsibility, with effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
